 The Thomas County Economic Development Alliance is an organization formed by Thomas County and the City of Colby. Our mission is:

To Enhance The Economy Of Thomas County
Through Business Retention,
Expansion And Development.

 The Alliance is funded annually by both the County and the City for operating expenses. It has a board of directors appointed by both the County Commissioners and the Mayor of Colby. The Alliance works with area banks, government agencies and educational institutions to help people with business development projects. It can assist with pointing businesses in the right direction to get training, financing and finding just the right location.

Our board members are Dale Herschberger, President, Paul Steele, Vice President, Larry Barrett, Secretary/Treasurer, Omar Weber and Ken Christiansen, members. Our board meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 8:00 a.m. and are open to the public.
