A vintage and handmade market on the charming grounds of the Prairie Museum of Art & History in Colby, KS—home to the largest barn in Kansas! Prairie Barn Market is the place to be in Northwest Kansas for homemade items, repurposed and upcycled items, and antique and vintage finds. Mark it on your calendar as a recurring event for the first Saturday in June!

In addition to great shopping, you’ll find tasty food, pony rides, face painting, yard games, tractor barrel train rides, and a vintage truck and tractor show.

Experience the 4th Annual Rocks & Rockets from 1 - 4:30 p.m. at the Colby Event Center. It's FREE, open to all, and jam-packed with geology and space science fun. This come-and-go event is perfect for all ages with all kinds of activities including astronaut training, exploring a Giant Mars Map, digging for fossils, and identifying minerals. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Join us for the annual sunflower festival complete with vendors, car show, and all kinds of games, activities and sporting events for every age group.

Experience a special event packed with action highlighting Bull Hands who are completing in bull riding, bullfighting in a protection match, and gladiators in freestyle.

The event host is bringing in five of the fiercest animal and human athletes on the planet for an exciting five man freestyle bullfighting! This is where bullfighters will try to control and maneuver around a 1,200lb full blooded Spanish fighting bull without being hooked or running to the fence for a mandatory 40 seconds with an additional 20 seconds to “sell their fight” which allows them to perform a buzzer beater stunt for additional points.

Join us in downtown Colby as we celebrate the holiday season with friends and family! Businesses and individuals in our community put on one of the best light parades for people to view and children to enjoy! The parade begins at 5:45 p.m. along Franklin Avenue from The Crew to Fike Park.

Afterwards, take the littles to visit Santa at Santa City in Fike Park!
