34th Annual Colby Home and Better Living Show

Get ready for a weekend full of vendors looking to make your home and living BETTER! A gym FULL of vendors, live demonstrations, and more in the main gym of the Colby Event Center! The 34th annual Colby Gun and Coin Show will be going on at the same time in the auxiliary gym of the Colby Event Center. Admission into the Home and Better Living Show is free. Hosted by NWKS Radio.

Friday, March 21 4 to 8 p.m.
Saturday, March 22 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, March 23 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Gun and Coin Show

Vendors come from all over come to Colby, KS to display collectibles: guns, knives, coins and more. This event has been held for over 60 years, and we are excited to be able to host our event at the same location and weekend as the Better Home and Living Show. So, there is something for everyone all weekend at the Colby Event Center.

Admission is $5 at the gate - $6 with credit card
Kids 12 and under are free admission with an adult admission.

March 22 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

NWKS Radio's County Legends Concert

Pickin' on the Plains Bluegrass Festival

Prairie Barn Market

A vintage and handmade market on the charming grounds of the Prairie Museum of Art & History in Colby, KS—home to the largest barn in Kansas! Prairie Barn Market is the place to be in Northwest Kansas for homemade items, repurposed and upcycled items, and antique and vintage finds. Mark it on your calendar as a recurring event for the first Saturday in June!

In addition to great shopping, you’ll find tasty food, pony rides, face painting, yard games, tractor barrel train rides, and a vintage truck and tractor show.

Admission includes market and museum exhibits: $5 for ages 13 & up; $2 for ages 6-12; ages 5 & under are free.

Hosted by Barnwood & Bling and Prairie Museum of Art & History.

Light Parade

December 6, 2025

Join us in downtown Colby as we celebrate the holiday season with friends and family! Businesses and individuals in our community put on one of the best light parades for people to view and children to enjoy! The parade begins at 5:45 p.m. along Franklin Avenue from The Crew to Fike Park.

Afterwards, take the littles to visit Santa at Santa City in Fike Park!
